ABSTRACT
Wellness has been stressed in the recent times all over the world. Human race, of late, are facing numerous wellness issues like hypertension, diabetes and Allopathy System categorizes some
wellness issues as ” curable” and others as ” controllable ” only. The Author took up research work on cause unknown case of Primary/ Essential Hypertension with the most famous traditional Therapy Acupuncture and reported on efficacy of this Therapy.
As the cause is not well established, prescription is continued medication with suggestion on lifestyle improvements. Medicine less therapies, numerous in practice, claim to cure. But relief obtained is not well documented for general practice in public domain and sustained relief is rarely reported to be authentic.
The Author took up research study ( self study) on hypertension with more than 50 different
therapies and as a part of comprehensive research work , study with Acupuncture is presented. 26 Acu Points were chosen for this Study duly enunciating criteria for selection.
Systolic BP relief, Diastolic BP relief, how long relief sustained, any unsafe trend of BP variation during needling, post needling, advantages of pulse balancing , need based supplementing pulse energy etc. have been studied and BP recordings are EXPLICITLY documented for posterity. Most favorable points for treatment have been shortlisted. From the trend of successful results, most probable
cause of hypertension of Author’s could be identified.
From the studies with 954 BP recordings, the Author could recommend energy based approach for cause unknown case of Primary/ Essential Hypertension with Acupuncture Therapy. Extent of Systolic BP relief, Diastolic BP relief and more IMPORTANTLY how long relief sustained have been vividly brought out. The Author did Complementary research studies with other therapies including Magneto-Acupuncture Therapy extensively.
